Visit Us

King’s Lynn Minster is located at the Saturday Market Place in the historic centre of King’s Lynn. The complete address is: King’s Lynn Minster, Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn, PE30 1DQ.

Visitors to King’s Lynn Minster are diverse.  We welcome strangers and pilgrims, young and old, rich and poor. Our doors are open daily from dawn to dusk.  We seek to be a place for everybody to enter God’s presence, and a sanctuary to all who shelter within our walls.

We celebrate the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ: the love that offers to each person acceptance, forgiveness and healing; that demands justice and freedom for all people; that seeks reconciliation and peace; that requires good stewardship of the world and fairness in the distribution of its wealth and resources. It is a love that we seek to celebrate and to proclaim in the quality of our worship and preaching, and in the care that we offer. It is the love to which this place has borne witness through the centuries and that has called people to gather here for nearly a thousand years.

Whether you’re a tourist, or a pilgrim; looking for peace and quiet, or excited  by history and architecture; looking for a Church to join, or a Service to drop into, you will always be welcome at the Minster. If you plan to visit for the day or the weekend, there are many other local buildings and attractions to visit too.

Accessibility – Our main door is level access. To get up to the crossing and then into the chancel there are ramps in place.  There a few places that can’t be accessed, but the main nave, crossing & chancel all have access.  We have a disabled toilet which is currently accessed via the external North Porch door as it on a higher level (our lift is out of use at the moment due to flood damage to the floor below it.)
